Hey gang! It’s the weekend! Hope you have something fun planned for you or your family. We have a full schedule the next few days, celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and helping th teenager in the house get to her various activities. She’s a great kid and has a very full schedule!
I was able to get some crafting time in and played along with the monthly Mystery Challenge
over at SSInk. With so many elements to choose from it was a little hard to decide which direction I should go.
Here is what I came up with!
I used the wet wash watercolor technique on this card for the layer with the sentiment. It is so quick and easy, can be used for any color combo and gives such a soft look in this case.
Underneath that layer I used three different embossing folders for the three different colors of paper. There are lots of textures going on here and I love they way they all worked together.
The glimmer paper heart adds a little amount of bling and the sequins are from January’s Paper Pumpkin kit. I love the look they bring!
I encourage you to try out any of the challenges I post here on my blog. They really help me get my into my stamp stash and use all of the wonderful products we sell at Stampin’ Up!
If you need any help ordering or just need a current catalog please let me know! I am here for you!

I love the color challenge at FabFriday
last week and knew that this paper would be a great compliment for it.
The weekend before Christmas and everyone is hurrying and scurrying about, trying to get things done. Here is a cute and quick gift that we put together for our youth leaders at church.
Coordinating card and homemade coffee sugar scrub
The lid of the jar be decorated using the Pointsettia punch. I love this punch!
I hope you can take some time this week and reflect on the reason for Christmas and what it means. Our family is taking the next two weeks off and are looking forward to fun, fellowship and celebrating Jesus.
Hey everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend! The last few days have been so busy, with something going on every night this week. It has been a bit of a challenge getting craft time in but I was happy to have a few free hours this afternoon.
The challenge this week from the fine folks at Fab Friday
was this sketch
I love the simplicity of this design. Here is my take on it
I realized this may be the first time I have actually used my brick wall embossing folder. I am doing to have to change that pronto!

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are having a great holiday weekend. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and much food was eaten. Friday I did some Black Friday shopping with my favorite teenager and today I had a great day helping people create adorable gift packaging for the holidays.
I have a card to share with you today. This card was created for the SSInk Challenge
and it is my first time participating with them. I love the mystery challenge we were given for the week.
This stamp set is so easy to use and in my opinion has the best sentiments ever! I stamped the outline in the Stazon ink, stamped the flowers with Real Red, the petals with Pear Pizaaz and then blended each of those colors with a blender pen. I love the soft, watercolor look this set has.

Happy Hump Day friends! How are your Thanksgiving plans and prep coming? Today I was able to get the cranberry sauce made and boiled the eggs for deviled eggs. As my reward – I stamped!!
The card I designed has 2 challenges in mind. The first was the Fab Friday77
challenge. This is a new challenge for me and I love the colors we were given this week.
The second challenge I chose was the MojoMonday
challenge. I love this week’s sketch and could see it being used over and over again!
I know there are not many days left to use the beautiful colors and papers of fall so I am taking full advantage of this while I can! I knew as soon as I saw the color combo that I would use the Into the Woods Designer Series Paper.
This is my first card using the Poinsettia punch and I can already tell it is going to be a favorite of mine. I am SO excited that it will be carried over into the spring! This stamp set has been a fall favorite of mine forever and I grab it every change I get.

This one really stretched me but I absolutely love how my card turned out. The most nontraditional colors have made me just swoon.
The two shades of pink combined with the gold is just stunning to me and it something I would save for Valentine’s Day. However, this card came together for me and I think it’s elegant and works so well together.

Hello everyone! Welcome to D’s Stapming Team USA Blog Hop! I am so happy to have you here, from either my very best friend Nichole’s blog or if you happen to be starting here.
I am so honored to be a guest hopper again this month.
This month we are sharing some amazing Christmas creations. I love Christmas time and all the crafting fun to be had at this time of year. Today my project is a gift box that I created for our Team Inking Everything Christmas Party – happening right now!! At our team party every year the contents of the package are not as important as the wrap so we all try to go over the top when we can!!
This project was inspired by a box found in Becky Robert’s
12 Days of Christmas 2015. I love 3-D items so much and am always trying to find fun and creative projects to make, CASE and share!
This box measures 5 1/2″ X 2 1/2″ when completed and is perfect for small gifts or treats.
The glimmer paper snowflakes make a wonderful embellishment when attached to the silver cord on both sides with glue dots. I love the detail they add to this project overall.
Now – it’s time for my apology. I was in the crafting zone when I created this project and wasn’t thinking when I grabbed my favorite snowflake set to add a little design to the Designer Series Paper. Once I was finished I realized that it is a set that is no longer available for sale directly through Stampin’ Up! I am so sorry to do that to you guys! Please forgive my blogging faux pas!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! It’s time to hop on over to Tina’s blog and she was she has for us. I would love to know what you think of my project, so please me some blog love in the comments!

It’s the first Wednesday in November and that means another ICS Blog Hop. This month we are giving thanks – and I have so much to be thankful for! I love thinking about gratitude, and how it makes me appreciate what I have in my life.
My card this month was featured at my technique class in October and I thought it was so fitting for this fall theme. I absolutly love the color blocking look and the frame looking out onto the fall scene is adorable!
I used the white shimmer paper for the scene and I wish that you could see it better. It almost looks like frost! This card may look difficult but it was so quick and easy once the block frame was created. I think this technique can be used for any card – I hope you will try it sometime.
Now, it’s time to hop on over to Darla and her sisters blog to see what wonderful projects they have for us this month.
Please let me know you were here by leaving me a comment and remember that you can subscribe to the blog and never miss another post.
