Inspired by Strawberries

Hello my crafting friends! It has been quite a few days since I have posted a card for you. Winter camp took me down for an extra day or two but I am back and happy to craft again.
Today I am playing along with the inspiration challenge over at SS Ink. The inspiration we were given was this:

And my card:

I absolutely {{LOVE}} how cute these hearts are! They are as on point as I could image to represent the strawberries and the hand cut sections of brown are great as chocolate!  This is going to be such a fun card to give away next month!

I am so glad that you stopped by today.  You can subscribe to my blog on the right and never miss another post. I love blog love in the form of a comment, so please let me know what you think of this project!

Inspired by…..

Hello friends! Today I am playing along with the SSInk27 Challenge. I love design challenges and have decided this is a great way to stretch myself.
Fall is in full swing and soon it will be time to put these beautiful colors and textures away and focus on Christmas. I am happy to have a few more days to craft for fall. I wanted to make a coordinating card and gift item because I love giving away what I craft! I love this pillow box die and will miss it terribly when it retires next month!

I did a little bit of rock and roll technique on the leaves. I wasn’t totally thrilled with them but the do look like they are turning from one color to another.
Thank you for stopping by today! You and subscribe to my blog to the right ——-} and never miss another post. I would love to know what you think of my card so please leave me some blog love in the form of a comment!

ICS Blog Hop – Introducing the Holiday Catalog!

Hello Hoppers and welcome to the September edition of the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop. You may have hopped here from Amanda’s Blog or this could be your first stop. Either way, I am so glad to have you here.

Today we are showcasing our favorite products from the just released 2015 Holiday Catalog by Stampin’ Up! This year’s catalog is packed with so many amazing products – I want them all! If you don’t have a catalog yet and would like me to mail you one, just let me know!

One of my favorite bundles is the Jingle All the Way stamp set and matching Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies. As soon as I saw it during the unveiling at Stampin’ Up! North American Convention in July, I knew it would be one of the first things I purchased.

This stamp set includes 13 stamps and 3 coordinating edgelits so that you are able to make a variety of scenes on your cards, scrapbooks pages or projects. Once cut, the edgelits can be flipped over to be used in reverse and adds even more versatility to the set. I cannot wait to share some of the other ways I have been using this set with you in the coming weeks and months. It is a stand out for sure! Using the 4 different colors of cardstock for this card gave the project depth and dimension and I think really helps set the scene. I love the glitter effect for snow using the Dazzling Details underneath the sleigh.  You can find all of the supplies used for my card at the bottom of this post and you can purchase all of them at my online store.

Now, it’s time to hop on over to Deb’s Blog and see her fantastic project!

Thanks for stopping by today! Show me some love by leaving me a comment and be sure to subscribe so that you never miss another post!

Hugs and Happy Stampin’

ICS Blog Hop – Happy Mother’s Day

Hail to all mothers, everywhere! Mothers are the heart of our homes and close to our hearts. Mothers Day is not for a couple of months but we are honoring mothers this month for our Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop! Welcome to the hop from either Facebook or Nichole’s Blog. I love Nichole’s work and she is one of my very best friends ever!! {{mmmwwwaahhhhh friend!}

My card is using a color combination that I just love. The Cherry and Blues are so complimentary! The layout is clean and simple but small elements such as the texture folder and the rhinestones really take this up just a notch.

I love the large Butterfly diecut and am so excited that these will soon be available again. I think they are just perfect for spring and summer and are a stunning piece to any projects!

Now, you are hopping off to Tina’s Blog and see what she has in store! Thank you for stopping by. Please leave me love in the form of a comment and be sure to subscribe so that you never miss a post!

Inspire Create Share Blog Hop August 2014

I cannot believe how fast the time flies! Here it is, another monthly Inspire, Create, Share blog hop. Welcome to those who have arrived here from Tina’s Blog! For everyone else you can start here and travel in the full circut around to all the other bloggers in our hop.

This month’s theme is black and white, with a pop of color if you choose! This card was inspired by a card that I created for our ICS Blog Hop Swap at the Inspire, Create, Share 2014 Convention. Here is our group photo, taken the last day of Convention. It was an amazing experience to be there in Salt lake with 4,000 other demonstrators and I am already planning next years trip. I would love to have you join my team and we can enjoy it together!

So, now for my card! I wanted to give the original design a little tweaking and add a small pop of color so here is what I came up with~

The card base is white, which is hard to see in this photo because of the backdrop. I used the Large Polka Dot embossing folder (#133739) on 2/3rd of the top white layer and stamped the sentiment  which comes from the set Trust God (#132094/126702) right above on the non embossed portion. The flowers were stamped in Basic Black from the Petite Petals set (#133152/133155) and the 3 lower flowers were popped up with  Dimensionals (#104430). The final pop of color is the Lost Lagoon Stitched Stain Ribbon (#133672) and is a favorite of mine in ANY color!

Next up in our hop is Eva and I am sure you will adore her card as well. I LOVE to hear from those you stop by so please leave me a comment!

Thanks for stopping by and happy stampin’!

Hugs!
