Homemade Mustard Sauce

This is a recipe that brings back wonderful childhood memories. My mom used to make this on special occasions and I just love it! It is excellent served hot with ham and also cold as a sandwich spread.

1/4 C Sugar
1/4 C White Vinegar
1 T. dry mustard
Pinch of salt
1/4 C water
1 t. flour
2 eggs

In a small saucepan beat the eggs until thick. Add in the rest of the ingredients. Whisk until all are combined and smooth. Cook over medium heat until thickened and smooth. Whisk constantly.
